Productive morning, despite the soaring heat. CB was lunged in both directions and turned with just a point from the finger. He only napped once when passing Levi, who was loose in field. Very clever boy. Then he was walked in hand from both sides and kept his position spot on. Not a foot (or a tooth) out of place!! Wee cracker, got a groom and a kiss on the nose and my face is still intact :-D BB was a star also, walked up to her caught her and took her to pen, where we worked on "correct" position in walk. Today was a big break through! She was able to walk around the pen with me between her shoulder and her nose. Instead of being in front leading her. She did this in both directions and me on her left and right side. Finished with a groom all over getting to go right down back and down to her hocks before she was out of her comfort zone. Let her go and I walked away and sat on the grass...."Hello" She stayed by my side, sniffing me head and licking my hair. I was actually able to PAT her and she stayed by my side. She has only allowed a stroke before. The "pat" was scary. Very pleased with her progress in such a short space of time :-)
