Professionals from Delhi, Chennai Kolkata Complain & a motivational video An IBM Girl from Calcutta Says: I was with IBM for more than 8 yrs and was recipient of Top Performer Award for last 3 yrs and my average sal growth is abt 4-5%, and when I came on bench after... I was harrassed and asked to meet some 10-15 people in different parts of the city as I asked for onsite project, finally I was forced into an internal project and made to work as a developer as I was on bench for too long ... all my requests for training rejected when on bench, and strangely this is the only co. where you have to apply for ur promotion all by your self, my promotion was rejected twice because the manager did not act on the application in time, now on top of it I have a lead even though he has less experience than me who joined recently, doesnt know technology or IBM .. . So if you are looking for a that old IBM.. thats long gone.. No money spent on trainings ..... direct poaching.. heights.. for temp staff this is hell... they just keep laying them off...... completely manipulative...... I am ashamed that I once was an IBMer A TCS girl from chennai says: I joined this company as a fresher 1.5 years ago. High job security, low job satisfaction, low career growth, good work-life balance, no transparency in the Appraisal system, extremely biased Appraisals, high work loads on Freshers, no proper mapping to resource skill set, extremely shabby team of HRs and Resource Management Group - are some of the features of this esteemed 10 billion $ organization. Lose your self-esteem, lick the shoes of your appraiser, learn to dodge your work but act as if youve done everything - And you survive in this great company...... An Infosys Girl from Delhi Says: I too was eager to join Infosys as a fresher but after coming to Infosys, I repented. It is literally a modern sweatshop where we have to work atleast 10 hrs per day to be deemed as an efficient employee, too much of stress. Our talents do not get recognition at Infosys office. we jus have to do same routine work which boss tells us. Overall it is just a satisfactory company for work, Infosys has lost its class and it is just piggy backing on the fame of Mr.NR Narayanmoorthy. Infosys, on its own, is not a nice place to work......
