Proud of my hubby historian, LTC Paul Scheidler, who was again the speaker at Hartlands Cromaine Library tonight for a talk on Gatsby and WWI. The topic was a tie in to the community big read of The Great Gatsby and how F. Scott Fitzgerald, a WWI veteran, crafted his characters around his own life experiences prior to and post war. So proud of him. Glad Zach and I could be there and extra support from his parents, hearing him speak there for the first time.
