Proverb 11:2 [When] pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly [is] wisdom. Proverb 3:35 The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools. ++ Pride and Shame or Humility and Wisdom When pride comes, then comes shame; but with the humble is wisdom . . . The wise shall inherit glory, but shame shall be the legacy of fools. Father God of glory, how fitting that those who pridefully oppose You will be brought low and will end up in shame. We do not want to be numbered among them. We want to walk in humility. We want to eagerly acknowledge our desperate need for You every day in every way. We want to be compassionate toward the needy. We want to bless Your people. We want to humbly seek the wisdom of Your word. We want to be a vessel of honor unto You, through Christ Jesus, our Lord, in Jesus name. Amen. A man pride bring him low,but a humble spirit will obtain honor. Proverb 29: 3.
