Proverb 13: 15- good understanding giveth favour … Proverb 12: 2 - good man obtaineth favour of the Lord… Therefore, it takes good understanding to be a good man and to obtain favour from the Lord. There is a shallow level of understanding (half or in-balance knowledge) and there is a good and balanced understanding generated from the word of God. It takes the ENTRANCE of His word to impact understanding not the hearing and reading. It is when you meditate on what you have heard or read that the word will truly enter into you to impact understanding. You will think right and act right when you have good and balanced understanding via meditation on God’s word. As you think right, act right and handle the issues of life appropriately, at every point in time based on good and balanced understanding, you will automatically obtain favour from the Lord, which is your birthright in Christ Jesus. Though, it is your birthright but you will never enjoy it nor have access to it without good and balanced understanding.
