Proverbs 7: In verse 5; I was enlightened by the cords that hold us in sin. In verse 6; I read several things the Lord hates and concluded with having the power to choose which path to go down now in vs 7; I am reminded to keep the commandments and keep them on the tablet of my heart because surely sin waits on every corner waiting to ensnare me. If we are not watchful we can become like the ox in vs. 22. The ox going to the slaughter. I pic the ox not having a clue where he is going. Vs 25; let not thine heart decline to her ways go not astray in her path as that is the path to destruction. We are enticed everyday and the end result is making the right choices so if we are not prayed up, fired up, and sold out to the word of God we can be led by others down the wrong path.
