Psalm 107 Part H verses 33-38 This also starts the 5th and last book of the Psalms! Author unknown. Gods provisioning for the redeemed. 33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground; Do we fully embrace His orchestration of this place we call earth suspended by His mighty right hand in the heavens? 34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein. There is nothing He cant or does not do concerning taking care of His children. Adversely He can use this to push out those who oppose His chosen. 35 He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings. We see what God has done with Israel the county. First pass to a casual bystander and it looks barren and a waste. One touch from God and it is an oasis. 36 And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation; God will lead you where it is He can bless you in abundance. We need only to put ourselves in the spirit of acceptance and gratitude. We cant look at the surroundings in doubt. What we see and what God has there for us are two very different dynamics. We must be full of faith clinging to the promises that He has made concerning where He has us at any given time. Remember the desert wanderings and murmurings? Did God ever short change them on any thing they needed? No the murmurings and whining were about what they wanted, not what they needed. This might sadly sound familiar in self examination! 37 And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase. God also expects us to do our part with what He provided. 38 He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease. In our trust, faith, and obedience we see His provisioning. The reason outside of loving us that He blesses us in abundance is so we can share that blessing with others! Have you? Pastor T
