Psalm 19:12-14 But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression. May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Asking God forgiveness for hidden faults comes from a place of humility, from a heart that recognizes that we will never know ourselves as well as God knows us. Presumptuous sin (NKJV) parades around like a juggernaut to our faith. These sins want us to feel ashamed, like we cannot approach God, or do not have control over them. Take up the armor of God and do not be fooled! Stand firm in your faith! Give the battles of addiction and deliberate sin to the Lord for triumph! He is able to forgive and you are able to overcome by the power of Christ! Verse/Commentary courtesy of Verse-A-Day android app. verse-a-day/Apps
