Public Notification for Informational Purposes-Lockport Issued By: Niagara County Sheriffs Office Issued On: 9/29/14 5:02 PM Lockport, NY - All City and Town of Lockport residents should be aware that the LaFarge Stone Quarry has been chosen as a movie set for an upcoming military film. The filming will commence at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1st and will go until approximately 3:00 a.m. Since this is a military movie, there is a strong possibility of military vehicles, simulated gunfire and small explosions during this time. All special effects will be conducted by using props by trained professionals and, therefore, there will be no danger to anyone in the surrounding area.
