Punch El-Rufai came to rig Anambra election – Umeh NOVEMBER 17, 2013 BY OZIOMA UBABUKOH, EMMANUEL OBE, MUDIAGA AFFE National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Chief Victor Umeh, has said that Mallam Nasir El-Rufai attempted to rig the Anambra State governorship election. Chief Umeh made this allegation on Sunday, while briefing journalists on last Saturday guber polls in the state. The APGA national chairman also said that the former minister of the Federal Capital Territory deserved the in-house detention he got from men of the State Security Service. The SSS officials had prevented him from leaving the hotel where he lodged on election day. Umeh alleged that the All Progressives Congress imported El-Rufai into Anambra State with the sole aim of bribing electoral officers to its favour. He wondered what El-Rufai would have come to do in the state on a day it was holding its governorship election.
