Purely for interests sake - 5yo Standardbred gelding, by Sundon so he was a trotter not a pacer. Havent had him measured but rider/handler 6ft1 for a comparison. Only been ridden 5 times, and only twice under saddle. Backed in gale force winds and was so chill, been out on two road rides both times hes been saddled. Brave and forward moving, but respective of what you want. Waiting for his teeth to be done before more work is put into him. Jumped on the lunge and loved it - new facilities mean I cant lunge him over them but will be jumping in the future, shows promise. Lovely trot, and has cantered on the lunge and shows promise with this too. Been to one show for good results, behaved like an old school master - tied perfectly to the float and behaved in his classes even when other horses didnt. Good to catch, for the farrier, perfect with kids, used to a wide range of farm animals! Floats okay, will better with experience. Just for interests sake to compare to further down the line.
