Now Purslow works for Chelsea as commercial director. All the small minded locals should never be allowed to administer the club starting with Ayre imho! History shows how myopic they can be with the club first in the 90s and now 2010s. How can you seek glory and employ a rookie with no record of trophies in his locker to run a titanic to greatness in the 21st century? Do they think this is 1950 hence going back to the past instead planning out a future? Suddenly, fans will soon start to believe that top 4 is a trophy with this dastardly trend of mediocre events. Hope doesnt change statistics and performance index. Competence viewed objectively does! Our heritage came from winning trophies and not a dead hope for a statistically confirmed loser. Even Sounness was a winner yet he failed at the club. Now we have a bunch of substandard players with £112m spent from a coach with no trophies in his locker - no experience of winning at any level! If you love the club you should be offended at these facts by now. I am!
