Q&A (98) Paul’s 3 Unreliable Testimony ** - contradictions in Paul’s statement. Q - According to Paul, when Paul was on the road to Damascus he saw a light and heard a voice. Did those who were with him saw the light? (A) The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless; **they heard the sound but did not see anyone**.(Acts 9:7) (B) **My companions saw the light**, but they did not understand the voice of him who was speaking to me.(Acts 22:9) Q - When Paul saw the light he fell to the ground. Did his traveling companions also fall to the ground? (A) **The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless**; they heard the sound but did not see anyone.(Acts 9:7) (B) **We all fell down**, and I heard a voice saying to me in Aramaic, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is useless for you to fight against my will.(Acts 26:14) Q - Who are you, Lord? Saul asked. I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting, he replied. Jesus called paul in Aramaic - Saul Saul. Jesus said: I am “Jesus”.? Jesus forgot his own Aramaic name.? Jesus is NOT Aramaic name.!! Q - “who are you , Lord.? “ How did Paul know it was the “Lord”.? **unreliable testimony will be rejected in any court of law** ;-) For once Paul told the truth:- After preaching his False Gospels, He Laughed at you and said: Be that as it may, I have not been a burden to you. Yet, crafty fellow that I am, I caught you Guile, by trickery, by deceit. (2 Corinthians 12:16)
