QUALITY 21 HOSPITALITY hospitality is the act of giving a warm welcome to guest. Being generous and friendly to visitors. In the BIBLE we see that this is one quality that comes out very clearly among the devout people of GOD of the past who placed their hope in GOD, and finaly when our LORD and SAVIOR, CHRIST JESUS comes HE speaks about it in MATHEW 25:35-36 as a vital necessity, a requirement for those who will inherit GOD-S Kingdom. And in LUKE 14:12-14 HE reminds the church to welcome the needed in our homes. When Paul speaks to the Hebrew church in HEBREW 13:2 HE reminds the church that some in that hospitability found out that they had welcomed Angels and precious people we will see the rewards that accompanied hospitability and also its application in our life, in our doctrine. The first person we do see is Abraham the Father of all believers, you can read the story in GENESIS 18:1-10 even how he saw strangers, ran to them and welcomed them and yet they were angel and the LORD was among them, and after giving them a warm welcome we see them bless Sarai his wife with a Son, and if you continue to chapter 19:1-8 we see after that visitation as they go to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah where lot lived, he notices them and runs to welcome tiem serves them and we do see they reveal to him of the distruction and rescue his life. I know the LORD is opening our Spiritual understanding. I want us to look at Moses, the Prophet of JEHOVAH in median, in EXODUS 2:15-22 we see how Moses and Jethro show hospitability...there are many other examples, we see in 2 KINGS 4:8-17 how the Rich woman from shunem is hospitable to Elisha the Prophet of the LORD and how she received a child, and in Chapter 6 in verse 21-23 we see how Elisha the Prophet is hospitable to their enemy and from hence forth they stop pursuing them many more example job in JOB 31:31-32 we see he was hospitable until GOD said he is blameless. In the early church ACTS 16:14-25 we see lydia is hospitable in verse 32-34 the jailar and we see as a result
