QUESTION FROM A READER: I could use some advice. I have a cast iron frying pan that needs some work. The cooking surface seems to have tiny bubbles under it and it almost looks like a thin layer has popped out on 1 side. After several trips in the oven; it is not smoothing out. I am afraid to scrub it with anything because I dont want to scratch it. Is there anything I can scrub it with that wont ruin it?
