QURAN:: Chapter Al-Rahman, Verse 19-21: مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ He has made the two seas to flow freely (so that) they meet together: بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass. فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? --------------------------------------------- QURAN: Chapter Al-Furqan, Verse 53: وَهُوَ الَّذِي مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ هَٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ وَهَٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًا وَحِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا He is the one who has set free the two kinds of water, one sweet and palatable, and the other salty and bitter.
