QURAN The Quran itself testifies that its author is God Almighty Himself: Al-Quran, the word of God, is inimitable and un-surpassable not only in the grandeur of its diction, the variety of its imagery and the splendour of its word painting but also in its meaning. It is an uncomparable Book which yields to no abrogation or distortion, and unto which no falsehood could find a way from whatever source. EVEN MEN OF ORDINARY INTELLIGENCE CAN UNDERSTAND THE QURAN AND ITS CONTENT WITHOUT ANY DIFFICULTY. To those who doubt its divine origin, the Quran throws a challenge. It asks them first to imitate its full text, or even to produce 10th verses similar to those in the Quran oe to create but a single similar verse and finally a verse even slightly resembling one in the Quran. The gravity of the challenge can be better appreciatived if it is rememberd that there are some verses in the Quran which are but a line. The challenge was not limited to the people of the age of Qurans revelation; it is open for all times.
