#Qtalk with TERENCE *** He can’t be my landlord *** There’s not a day that passes by that I don’t regret my decision. I had just come out of a very painful relationship which left me very emotionally scarred when I met a very nice man in his 40s. He was married and he did not hide that fact from the beginning. We met at work and I had no intentions whatsoever of dating a married man. But as time passed by I frequently felt lonely and wanted some comfort and Henry was always there. He treated me well and constantly bought me numerous gifts. He even helped me pay my way through school and constantly helped me with supplies and groceries, and as wrong as it sounds I think I fell in love. We started seeing each other and continued for the next 5 years; however I finally began to feel I needed to grow up, move on, and find my own man. That was when I met my current husband who loved me very much. Just six months after dating, he proposed and we are now married. I have not told him about my ex-lover. I did not feel it was necessary…until last week. My husband and I have been looking for a house to rent within Lusaka. So recently he told me he had found one that was perfect for us and that he had met the landlord and liked him already– a nice middle-aged married gentleman I thought this was great until also I got to meet this landlord just last week and to my shock it turned out to be my ex lover. I was so shocked to see him I immediately froze and could not even say hello. My husband is excited about the house and now I can’t tell him why we should not move there, all I know is Henry CAN NOT be our landlord. We all make mistakes. HELP. Call in on 0211 251729
