Question from an IHer Psuedotumor Cerebri Question- does it really help to lose dramatic amounts of weight? I was diagnosed in March 2014 weighing 236 symptoms were massive headaches with sharp pain behind my eyes mainly the left, occasional loss of balance, swollen optic nerve. I was given Diamox 750mg Roboxin 500mg over counter Magnesium 1200mg Potassium 200mg. I exercised everyday walking 30 to 45 minutes. 2 months went by no headaches just stiff neck and back pain similar to whiplash. Today I weigh in at 198 my symptoms have worsened headaches are coming closer together now, my ears are are now ringing every day, nose runs like I have sinus trouble, my back and neck pain has doubled and if I exercise. The next day I have a severe headache. The Doctor says I still need to lose 50 more pounds, but Im worried I will get even worse. . Any thoughts? ?
