Quick Update: Mahalo everyone for your prayers and concern. We survived the hurricane. Day 4 and were still without electricity, landline phone, cell signal. Talk about being disconnected from the world! Thank you Starbucks for WiFi! :) On the bright side, no damage to our homes, cars or ourselves. Mahalo Ke Akua for safety in our Force Shield! :D Big shout out to the Man Up Program in lower Puna. Mahalo, Man Up for taking the time to assist the community by cutting up trees to free up driveways and roadways. Mahalo to Helco crews. I know youre doing your best to get everyone up and running. (We are among the 9,000 customers without power). After seeing the devastation in Lower Puna for the first time this morning, it humbles me and helps me to be patient and wait my turn (we have a downed live wire in our front yard). My heart goes out to all the many, many families in lower Puna who will have to endure the many and various losses. I can only feel gratitude at this time. Grateful for everything... Sending blessings of love out... it knows where to go, and it knows what to do.
