Quora ------ Is it ok for a girlfriend to sleep over at a guys place? ------ Bullshit. No, its not okay. Lets be really honest here. Yes, there is a trust component in this situation. Yes, a couple should trust each other and allow a sense of freedom that goes along with this trust. You cant move forward in a relationship without having trust. But is it okay for me to sleep over at girls houses at night? Is it okay for me to spend late-night conversations with these girls, study projects, and have deep conversations? Can anybody really say that nothing is going to happen? In the end, its a guy and a girl. Its hormones. Its primal, stupid, and powerful. No guy is completely altruistic. Temptation is everywhere. A woman sleeping in my couch or bed, her soft breathing, her vulnerability...Ive seen too many people make the wrong mistake. Betrayals happen all the time. This is an exercise of trust. But no, in the long run, unless its an emergency, I wouldnt be too comfortable. Have a talk with her.
