As a child , when we are ignorance about life, our belief , hope , ambition were strong. No matter how foolish it sound to other people , as a kid , we never doubted in that. now 20 years later , I realize that those were nothing but just foolish dreams and words. I really learned about the true and hard facts about society and personal own limitations along the way, there are things that no matter how hard u tried , it will just eventually lead up to failure and many at times it a repeated cycle such that u developed a real super pessimistic mindset , always questioning why is this always happening to me. Such is the cruel fact of life whereby talent , luck and environment play a big part and success is not something that u can achieve with just hard work alone. Seeing how people around me just progress much in life while i still stuck in a stage , one would not feel too good about it. Often , late at night , i would question myself what is life really all about? It is all about qualification , money , luxury items , comparing and trying to put other down so u can stand tall among them. Throughout my life , i have seen how fragile life was , people who i know lost their lives at a young age , relative who succumbs to terminal diseases , i would often think about all this in the middle of the late night when it silence , quiet and cant help but feel a sense of void about how unpredictable and fragile life really is. Of course , i will go deeper into my thoughts , trying to picture and asked myself what if this happened to me and the kind of life after death question(heaven , hell or a state of nothingness) I always know that we as human are always selfish no matter who we are and life is never fair. People living in this world can never ever understand one another , such as the strong can never understand the weak , the rich can never understand the poor , the healthy one can never understand the sick. This eventually lead to hatred and envious among people. I accepted this as part of the rule for the game of life. Even if we are not able to understand one another but it is too difficult to ask that people give each other a little respect that each single human beings in this world deserved , i know society would not permit that , it is the survival of the fittest whereby in order to survive ,people would do whatever it takes to bring the other party down and strike them hard , never miss any single opportunities to make your opponent bow. What are we really fighting for in life? i wonder.... After all , no one truly belongs to this world , we are all nothing but just purely travelers performing our role and awaiting for our time... There is no meaning to life. Thats the great truth. There is not end point to arrive to like Mario. Perhaps some will say the finishing line is death. But do not forget this, there is no single standard for goals in life, there is no saying you must achieve 5k a month in earning, or earn a Master degree in NUS, or be a high flyer in your career. These might be what set you down all these while. Find your real Passion in life.
