R&B singer Robin Thicke has provided an update on his fight to win back estranged wife Paula Patton and why he is not ready to give up following their winter separation. Despite his public pleas, Thicke said he has not seen Paula since earlier this year. Reports Sohh: “I haven’t seen her for four months. She’s the best girl in the world, a great mother and still a good friend. But I also want to wish her well and let her know that she’s a great person and she deserves to have a good life,” Thicke said in an interview. “I’m a man. I messed up and I had to lie for a while, and then I stopped lying. This whole album is me revealing everything.” (Hot 97) Robin reached out to Paula during his performance of “Forever Love” at last weekend’s 2014 BET Awards show. “I’d like to dedicate this song to my wife. And say ‘I miss you’ and ‘I’m sorry,” Robin Thicke said, before performing his new song “Forever Love,” for the first time on live television. “Forever Love” follows up “Get Her Back,” both off his album dedicated and titled after his estranged wife, actress Paula Patton. “He singing like she don’t know him,” Chris Rock joked after Thicke’s performance. (Billboard) Nearly four minutes in length, Thicke unleashed somber feelings for his estranged wife in the new “Get Her Back” music video. Robin Thicke wants that old thing back. The R&B crooner continues his public campaign to win back his wife of nine years, Paula Patton, in the emotional and intimate video for “Get Her Back,” the first single off his upcoming album Paula. A shirtless Thicke pours his heart out while exchanging texts with a woman who resembles Patton. She tells him, “You ruined everything” and “You drink too much,” while a remorseful Thicke promises to make it right. Tears roll down both their faces as they work to save their marriage. (Rap-Up)
