Designer LWren Scott was found dead in her Manhattan apartment Monday. Scott, the girlfriend of Mick Jagger, was found hanging in her apartment at 200 Eleventh Avenue by her assistant at around 10 a.m. ET. A spokesperson for Jagger told The Hollywood Reporter that he is completely shocked and devastated by the news. When reached by The Hollywood Reporter, a New York Police Department spokesman could not confirm the identity of the woman, but said she was 49 years old and had been found unconscious and unresponsive. The NYPD will not identify her until the family is notified. He added that authorities believe it to be suicide, but the Medical Examiners Office will determine the cause of death. Last month, the designer canceled her London show due to production delays. Instead, Scott unveiled her fall 2014 collection via social media earlier this month.
