RANGERS will face Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the second round of the League Cup if they successfully negotiate this months clash with Queens Park. The draw was made at Murrayfield this evening and will see the Light Blues host the Highlanders if they beat Queens later this month. The second round of the tournament is due to be played on the 26th and 27th of August, however, with Rangers set to face Queens Park in the first round on the 26th, a date is not confirmed for the potential tie. The pair last met in the League Cup in October 2012 at Ibrox with the visitors emerging victorious in a 3-0 quarter final win.
