RANT: I really want everyone who wants me to play (non-charity) shows for free to take a look at my music budget this fall (album + tour + music video+ website redesign + this list can go on but we could be here all day). Seriously, it costs money to make and release music. It takes countless hours and checks written before an artist/band even gets on your radar. And when youre an indie artist from a modest financial background with no investors or a label paying for things, that means youre paying thousands of dollars to make music on your own, (in my case while paying rent and student loans). I love what I do, which is why Im trying to make a living at it. Dont make this harder than it already is. Woosah…rant over.
