RE-POST TYPO FREE!!!! There was a boy who was placed in a candy store and was told by the owner of the store that he can sample as much candy and take home much candy as he chose. Standing out boldly for all the rest was a box of candy bars named Sweet Carmel Crunch; the owner saw the boy gazing at it and he smiled and said, “You have chosen well for this particular kind was specially made and is also a rare find. The boy decided to opened a piece and proceeded to eat it; his mouth exploded from the enormous flavor! This candy satisfied his taste buds so much that he fell in love with it, and was sure he would take the whole box home with him. The owner asked, “I see you are satisfied with the Sweet Carmel Crunch”, and proceeded to bag it for the boy. The boy replied, YES I do love that particular candy but your store is full with so much other flavors and varieties, I think I will try and take a little bit of it all. The owner, replied, “very well, as you wish and gave him the bag. The boy ran rapidly through the store dumping as much candy in the bag as it could hold. Happily, the boy thanked the owner of the candy store for his kindness and left. Returning home, the boy excitedly sampled every piece but was slightly disappointed with every bite. Although many pieces tasted good, he was not in love with any of their flavors; they did not satisfy his taste buds like the Sweet Carmel Crunch had! He digs deep inside his sack to find the Sweet Carmel Crunch bars only to realize he had mistakenly left them at the store! He went to sleep disappointed and saying, “tomorrow I am going back to the candy store and get those Sweet Carmel Crunch bars. Upon returning to the store the next day he discovered that the Sweet Carmel Crunch bar were NO longer there, so the boy asked the owner, "Where are those delicious Sweet Carmel Crunch bars that I love?" The owner replied, “A boy walked in the store after you left and I too gave him the same opportunity as I had given you. He saw those Sweet Carmel Crunch bars standing out boldly from all the rest, tasted one and decided those bars are what he wanted; he did not ask nor did he sample another piece of candy because he was satisfied with the taste of the Sweet Carmel Crunch, so I bagged the candy bars up and gave it to him”. The boy anxiously asked, “When will you have a new shipment of them in”? The store owner shook his head and replied,” There are no more that will be shipped or made again; you see. that particular candy was a rare find and a true treasure; in the mist of all your greed, you seem to have missed out on the best” The boy walked out of the candy store disappointed, heartbroken, sad, and angry with himself because he knew if he had not been so greedy he would have not forgotten what he originally had placed right before his eyes; his taste buds will never be fulfilled, he will never taste the sweetness of Sweet Carmel Crunch again! WHAT’S THE MORAL OF THIS STORY
