READER QUESTION Sarah wants your suggestions! Id love some suggestions on a design dilemma Im having at the house we just purchased. The office/guest room is slowly coming together. Its small, around 8 x 13, and angular. The fabrics are going to be primarily shades of red, white, and blue. The walls will be a light neutral color (to be determined). Im looking for suggestions on where should I use the wall color and where should I use ceiling paint. Im considering doing the ceiling in the dormer white and slanted walls the neutral wall color that we choose. What about the awkwardly small strip of actual ceiling? Ceiling paint, wall paint, or maybe ceiling paint with a few drops of the wall paint to mellow it out. Id like to make the room look as large as possible and play down some of the harsh angles. Discuss.
