REAKING: Violence erupts across Egypt, at least 13 killed Violence has erupted across Egypt in Giza, Alexandria, Tanta, Suez and Ismailiya, with reports of on-going clashes between security forces and Morsi supporters. In Alexandria, heavy clashes erupted at Sidi Bishr shortly after prayers. Reports indicate at least one has been injured in the clashes involving opponents and supporters of the Islamist Anti-Coup Coalition. The extent of the security presence is unclear. In Tanta, Suez and Ismailiya, security forces are using live ammunition and tear-gas to disperse pro-Morsi protesters, with reports indicating that the protesters had attempted to attack various government buildings. Eye-witnesses indicate that live ammunition is being used by both sides. At least six were killed in Ismailiya, four in Suez, and two in Tanta. In Cairo and Giza, two police officers were killed after armed attacks on police checkpoints by armed individuals. Hundreds of protesters have taken to the streets.
