He is a sweet 13-month-old male tan and white Pit Bull Terrier Mix. Luckily he only weighs 37 pounds, because he was so afraid that he had to be carried out of his kennel. We can only imagine what he has been through before he even got here. WESLEY responds immediately to human touch and a kind voice, so we know that he will totally open up once he is in a home with a patient, loving owner who will work with him and bring him out of his shell. These types of dogs usually make miraculous recoveries, and end up being the most loyal pet you could possibly have. He is a sweet young pup, who is just scared to death being in this environment, which makes it difficult to see how he is with other dogs, although he was completely oblivious to the other dogs at our photo shoot. WESLEY has been at the shelter since August 7th, so all of the noise and barking can’t be good for such a sweet sensitive little guy. Please open your heart and come to the shelter today for WESLEY.
