REFUSE TO GIVE UP ON THE WORD.... KEEP TRUSTING. And they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us. Exodus 5:21 The experience of the Hebrews is what many of can relate to. In Exo 5:21, They elders of Israel turned against Moses ....What !!! Moses received the word and assignment from the Lord “Go tell the children of Israel ‘I will put an end to your slavery and burden’”, and to Pharaoh “Let my people go”. Yes, like many of us, Israel rejoiced at the word and the promise: finally our affliction is coming to an end. Yes sometimes it’s much easier to rejoice at the word than to hold it. But like the devil, Pharaoh wasn’t rejoicing; he got extremely mad, and made their bondage harder. Does that sound familiar?... The enemy is getting furious !!... The night is at its thickest when it’s about to break. The snake shakes more violently when is head is cut off. The head of satan has been crushed , the Lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed...JESUS IS LORD...Afraid of your breakthrough, the enemy may sound or look furious. ...Hold on stand your ground. But the fury of Pharaoh was all it took for Israel to drop the word, stop rejoicing, and turn at Moses. Sometimes people leave churches, attack pastors, blaming them for their harsher conditions and situations. What should Israel have done? In Mark 5 Jairus came to Jesus while his daughter was at the point of death, and while still in the Lord’s presence, the condition of his daughter grew worse and she died. Lo and behold,"getting worse report" came from his household “...what are you still doing here, your case in now hopeless...” (Verse 35) But Jesus would tell Jairus “Only believe, be not afraid” (Verse 36); Jesus reinforced his faith But Moses like all Hebrews was disheartened too and he charged at God For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all. Exodus 5:23 Quite understandable, Yes... they were used to a life of bondage, they would rather continue in their bondage than hold God to His Word and promise. They had just spent 400years in hard labour and slavery, confined, limited, in pains, anguish, and rigour and it became so hard for them to believe it can be over just like that. Yes friend, at His Word...it shall be over........ The main enemy of deliverance is “getting used to bondage/affliction syndrome”. Many of us are afraid of the reaction of the enemy than uphold God’s word. The fear of change has kept many in their bondage and their limitations. Rather than paying the price of freedom, we settle for a life of pain, grief, losses, failure, sins, addictions, fear, shame and reproach. May your unholy alliance and your ungodly relationship with your afflictions and bondage be terminated this day in Christ Jesus name. God is not deterred, He will do what He has promised. Let your faith rise again. Faithful is He that promised ; who also will do it Hold fast !!! Let all threats against your health, your career and finances, your relationships and children be rebuked for your sake in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
