The Department of Tourism is pleased to announce the holding a ground-breaking event in the annals of the tourism industry and local governance thru the conduct of the 1ST NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON TOURISM GOVERNANCE with the theme “Sustainability and Inclusivity in the Governance of Tourism Destinations, ” on November 25-26, 2013, SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City, MM Held in partnership with the University of the Philippines - Asian Institute of Tourism (UP-AIT) and the Tourism Foundation, Inc. (TFI), the event is designed to provide the necessary information to enlighten the participants on the roles, responsibilities and opportunities open to local government units that are pursuing tourism as a sustainable development tool.
