REISSUE: “Music Man - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Revanche Perhaps one of the most perplexing of times online would be researching the life of Jacques Fred Petrus - there is much about the man but in many conflicting manners which take away some of the magic of his background. The bottom line is that his productions created a sound for disco that was taken to heart. From Machos Im A Man to his studio ensembles with Change (Paradise, A Lovers Holiday, etc.) his influence as a producer and contractor stand firm - this is some fantastic music. A cloud to escape on. Many of his productions are essential. Mauro Malavasi is the genius behind the music side along with many talented musicians and vocalist. Music Man is one of my all-time favorites in Petrus style - I have taken the bull by the horns so to speak and chopped the heck out of this masterpiece.
