REJECTED STONE TURNED CORNERSTONE AS WANDERERS,SILVER AND TIGERS FIGHT FOR KANANJI.. You can fire him but you cant take away the talent!Former Bullets head coach Eliah Kananji who brought smiles on the faces of Palestinians after a decade(10 years) of wrinkled faces by winning them the TNM Super league and the Carlsberg cup is selling like hotcakes on the coaches transfer market with Bullets rivals Be Forward Wanderers,Silver Strikers and Azam Tigers all chasing for his signature. Kananji who is now third in command at the peoples team has expressed sadness over his demotion which he say has nothing to do with qualifications as is being claimed by Bullets officials saying if it had to do with qualifications then he would not be made third in command but rather deputise Ramadhan.CAF rules states that all teams playing in CAF club champions league must be coached with coaches who hold a CAF coaching License and not their deputies.Kananji has said he will make a decision on which team to join after evaluating offers from both clubs. Meanwhile,Bullets former GS Higger Mkandawire has backed Kananji saying what Bullets has done is very ungreatfull and a sign that they do not want Mr Kananji. If Kananji was made second to Ramadhan that was ok becoz CAF rules only talks about coaches having CAF Licence and not their deputies.Apapa ndichimodzimodzi kutenga pilot kuti azikalongedza katundu mu ndege..said Higger. Some Bullets senior players have also sided with Mr Kananji saying he is a very good coach and has a very good relationship with the players. But speaking to Times Tvs sports arena programme on monday evening,Bullets chair Kondi Msungama rubbished players concerns saying they have no choice but to work with Ramadhan saying they are not permanent structures and can move to any team anytime and therefore they should not dictate on how Bullets is run.
