REMAIN STEADFAST, THE TRUTH SHALL PREVAIL.: I came across this statement on the wall of the overhead bridge along St. Johns Bus stop before waterlines all in Port Harcourt and it reads thus: REMAIN STEADFAST, THE TRUTH SHALL PREVAIL. Initially, I thought It was a motivational statement as usual but then, I saw the picture of our amiable Governor, Gov. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi and a Ladys picture beside his (CRA). What I didnt do was taking note of the ladys name knowing fully well it will be one of those seeking for recognition who must have exploited some poor individuals just to put that board. Anyway, it must have caused her a fortune from other peoples sweat... Hmmm....I kept on thinking*** what could this woman be talking about? What truth? Why should they even hide the truth in the first place? Why should we now trust them? The last time i heard about these people (Gov. Rotimi & Hon. Nyesom) threatling to tell the truth was when the issue between them earlier started... Gov. Rotimi will say: if you provoke me, Ill talk and his brother Nyesom will come out the next day on media to say: If you dare me, Ill talk. Lol! This reminded me of the days i was growing up in Bonny town, government school compound to be precise..yea..my mother was the Principal of Community Secondary School Akiama Bonny before she died in 2009 and so we were entitled to a flat in that old historical wooden upstairs....I was mamas last child anyway so that explains the rest..**winks**!! What was the point i wanted to make before this little distraction?.... Yes..., now remember..... When we get engaged in an abusive game with our mates then, the problem we encountered initially was who will abuse first....if you grew up before or in my days youll remember vividly what am trying to picture here and so we will start as follows.. Me: you dey mad... You: you dey craze Me: I ney dey mad, i ney dey craze but i carry 50kobo marry your sister!! Thus, we start abusing each other until the other person gives in... With retrospect to CRA & Nyesom ill talk saga, if youve observed, till now, none of them has come up to say one thing about the other... What are they still hiding even in the face of this deep and deadly enmity between them? However, Ill not want to conclude on weather or not i know what they are hiding but then i think these people are deceiving us......or what do you think? Samuel Nifemi Jumbo is my name!
