REMINDER - please come and get the FACTS about long range water planning in our community! Tell your neighbors - two sessions make it easier to attend! On Wednesday, December 17th, Mayor Barron Casteel and the New Braunfels City Council will host their second Citizen Forum at the New Braunfels Civic/Convention Center, 375 S. Castell Avenue. The program will feature information from New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) on New Braunfels’ water supply and long term water planning strategy. “The forum will be an opportunity for citizens to hear details about the local water supply, steps NBU has taken to diversify the supply, and the process for managing it, particularly during drought conditions,” said Mayor Casteel. “We are excited to share the information and we hope that our customers will leave with a better understanding of what takes place in long term water planning, as well as their role in the effort,” NBU Communications Manager Gretchen Reuwer noted. Duplicate forums will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to allow for maximum attendance by the community.
