REMINDER!!! Honoring All Who Served... We are inviting all DeSoto soldiers currently serving and veterans of the U.S. Military and their families to a special event honoring their service on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 9am until 12 noon at the Jim Baugh Government Center (City Hall). Our special guest and keynote speaker will be Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson!! This event is designed to acknowledge the sacrifice made by veterans and their families and to provide information on employment opportunities and help them take advantage of benefits they are entitled to receive as a result of their service to our community.
