RESTORATION HOUR! !!!The Benefit of HUMILITY!!! But he gives us even more grace to stand against such evil desires. As the Scriptures say, God opposes the proud but favours the humble. James 4:6. The more humble you are, the more grace and favour you receive from the Lord. Humility is not a product of weakness or incompetence but a product of self discipline, respect and self control. Humility doesnt respond to prayers but it responds to the man that has chosen her as a lifestyle. It is an act that must be triggered into action. It is a principle that must be discovered and activated. Jesus humbled Himself and became obedient even unto death; For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are heaven, on Earth and under the Earth ( Phil 2:8-10 NASB). Beloved, the reward of humility cannot be over emphasised. David was a king different from Pharoah, Belshazzar and Saul who were lifted with pride and it eventually destroyed them. David was a great man but his greatness was not in his bravery, even though he was very brave. It was not in the battles that he won, even though he won many. It was not in the glory of his reign, even though he had his share of glory. It was in his willingness to submit to the will of God and to humble his heart in repentance when he sinned. His humility moved God to testify of him. After He had removed him, He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, I HAVE FOUND DAVID the son of Jesse, A MAN AFTER MY HEART, who will do all My will. Acts 13:22. When you are tempted to yield to pride, remember how Pharoah, Belshazzar and Saul ended their reign and learn your lessons. Also, when you go for humility, remember the reward of Abraham and David, and the life of Jesus Christ and be encouraged. You may be ridiculed for being humble and submissive to the will of God but the reward is priceless. RECEIVE The Grace for humility in Jesus name.
