REVIEW OF “SACHITRA BHAGWAN MAHAVIR JEEVAN CHARITRA” : WRITTEN BY SHRI PURUSHUTTAM JAIN AND RAVINDRA JAIN : Though the book has been named as “SACHITRA BHAGWAN MAHAVIR JEEVAN CHARITRA” but its first chapters reflects many vital aspects of other 23 Lord Tirthankars from the master of this era’s civilization Great Ist Tirthankar Lord Rishabh ( Adinath ) to lord Parasnath and also the cultural evolution and independent philosophical characteristic SHARMAN / NIRGRANTHA , the other historical name of Jainism . Book’s 2nd chapter completely dedicated to 24th Tirthankar Lord Mahavir revealing many known and unknown ( to most of common man ) facts of his life since birth . one more value edition with some unique beautifully descriptive pictures . Spiritual Excellence is mirrored in lord Mahavir’s life at every step . Thousands of thousands sun and moon and lakhs of lacs ocean could not be equated his unparallel Experienced Knowledge to take all living being towards Mokshya . So , the 3rd and 4th chapter s enlighten only a small part of his scientific yet most extra ordinary contribution for the benefit of entire humanity around the universe . This is a subject where even learned Jain Scholars and Jain Achrayas could not contribute much . However , the book inspire us as a whole and its emphasize on historical datas has made it authentic in all other aspect as its 5th chapters narrated the spread of Jainism with many proven events . However , needless to mention the in preface authors has well documented the rise and falls of Jainism and comprehensive analysis of the same showing the brutal attract on Jainism even by the then misguided kings and some so called saints . Preface itself is eye-opener chapter for all those who are interested to know the truth and history based on authentic sources . May ParamAtma bless Purushottam ji and Ravinder ji with his divine blessings to enable them to contribute more for spreading the philosophy of non violence and truth . Pradip Chopra , Editor – Jain Nirdeshika , A rare Book on Non violence philosophy , Former Genl.Secy. – Shree Jain Samaj , Former Genl.Secy. – Sampradayik Sadbhavna Samiti
