I married the “farmer’s daughter”. We moved around a lot the first years, usually because of work. We lived in Denver, Colorado for a few years and by then we had 3 children. I would sit outside in the evenings and play my guitar. I taught my wife to play a few chords as well as some of the neighbor kids. But I was restless, always looking for something to satisfy. And then one Sunday evening, July 9, 1967, I was out with a friend in a bar. I came home late that night and found my wife praying for me. I knew what I had to do. I went into my bedroom,and came out a new man. Jesus saved me.
