RIP Challen Chick Nikolaus. He was my neighbor when I grew up in Guyan Estates. He died yesterday and was 101 years old. I still would talk to him and his wife, Betty, every time I would come to visit family in Barboursville. Please pray for Betty, who still lives in the same house beside my Mom. Mr. Nikolaus, much like just about everyone from his generation, was a kind, gentle, and just a very nice man.
