RIP Tony Benn, in most people’s minds the most respected of all modern day politicians his passing is a great loss to the Workingman. Never have I ever seen or heard of any British politician that has worked so hard and with such caring and determination for the sole benefit of others. In my opinion he would have made a truly Great prime minister. It is my guess that powers that be would not allow such an honest person to become prime minister. Dishonesty and corruption appear to be the hallmarks as in Blair, Brown, Cameron, and Clegg. False promises and pledges are their hallmarks so it seems. His letters to me are treasured reminders of a truly great man. NO State Funeral for this man, only for the likes of Thatcher the Destroyer, my most sincere condolences to his family and friends.
