RUSTY UPDATE : Rusty went back to the vet today to have his stitches out. Unfortunately the skin flap did not take and it pulled away completely from the wound, not surprising given it was a very large area to try and cover. The wound is looking very healthy though and will heal over in time. Some of the stitches are staying in but all have been removed from where Rustys eye was taken out due to a very deep and painful ulcer diagnosed. Rusty had definitely had enough by the time our visit was over today and let us know in no uncertain terms when he had his anti inflammatory and antibiotic shots. He has a lot of spunk this boy :-)
