#RWANDA the genocide in that country if you ask me was caused by the Belgians because they made the minority TUTSI feel leadership was embedded in them from childhood and gave them (tutsi) lucrative positions in the then colonial era to modern day democracy thus relegating the moderate HUTU to the sideline with menial jobs only. NOW The British on the other hand have also made the Northerners feel same way like its their birth right to always be in charge. For leadership to move around,they are hardly consent. In spite of the fact that the northern nigeria has produced 8 presidents out of the 13 leaders of nigeria since independence,they still feel cheated in terms of been in charge of sharing the national cake. Its is widely published that over 70% of the oil wells in nigeria are owned by northerners while the oil wells are situated especially in the south-south part of the country. ADVICE: It is high time nigeria started consideration people for leadership positions based on their antecedents to perform well and not where they come from.
