I was going through some old paper work and came across and interesting stash of memorobilla. In 2007 Liz and I were fortunate enough to attend the best there ever will be Jimmy Buffett concert at Bankie Banx Dune Preserve on the Caribbean island of Anguilla. We stayed at the Anguilla Great House and walked down the beach from our hotel which was overrun with concert goers as well as some of the Coral Reefers including Tina, Nadira and some of the band tech people. The doors opened at noon and the show didnt start till 3 and it was hot. But, we toughed it out, and like a nerdy nerd I hand wrote a set list on note cards I always carry with me. I found those note cards today. Almost through them away till I realized what they were. Most of the people entered the dune from the road side, but a good number, Liz and I included entered from the beach side, and when we came out the whole bay was filled with everything from dingys to Mega Yachts and everything in between. The sun was just starting to set and St Martin was coming to light and life across the water. We walked back to the Great House and had a massive banquet dinner with lots of strangers who later became friends. And one very special couple became our friends that night, Michelle Landy Rau, do you remember that night? You and David were an awesome treat to meet, and we have had some, but not nearly enough good times since then. If I get a chance I will scan them in and post those note cards but for now they are going in the ticket keepsake box.
