Rachael Asks Hi! I have been breastfeeding my 6 month old since she was born. I exclusively breastfed her for the first 2 months, and then her pediatrician found a VSD in her heart. He and her cardiologist said that I could not nurse her anymore and had to pump exclusively. She will not nurse now, as she has forgotten how to. My supply has gone downhill from there. She is getting better now and I can nurse her if she will. Its a work in progress, but I need some advice on how to increase milk supply. I have spoken with lactation specialists and they all say to nurse, but she will not do it... yet. We are not giving up on this!!! Please Help!!! And thank you!!! :)
