Rafayel proudly sponsors Alex Bland and Harry Martin-Dreyer will be setting off in an attempt to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a 7 meter rowing boat on 1st December 2013 . The journey of approximately 3,000 miles will start in the La Gomera in the Canary Islands and finish in Barbados (hopefully). People have made the journey before but in total, the Atlantic has been successfully rowed by less people than have been to space. We hope the attempt will take us about 40 days with us rowing alternately 2 hours on, 2 hours off, 24 hours a day without pausing (well, maybe on Christmas day). rowing4research/
