Rail budget through the eyes of a common man. Before we say any thing in favour or against the current railway budget. Let us consider the problems existing now that make railway journey a nightmare for a common man. 1. Overcrowded trains. Because of the shortage of trains. 2. Reservations not available even when you register 2 months earlier. Waiting list is almost equalant to one train load. 3. Dirty environment inside the train as well on the stations. Filth scattered all over. Bad odor on all sides. Because no govt official or leader travels by train so why bother. 4. Third class catering. Not fit for even animals. Because of multiple reasons of vested interest of the concerned people. For over the years we have learnt that comon man has no dignity here in our country. They are born to face all the exploitation and visccitudes of the countries law and order. 5. Time consuming and no punctuality, because of callous and irresponsible management 6. We are forced to live in congestion at high rentals in metro cities to earn lively hood. Resulting in multiple problems and pollution in the metro cities. It takes hours to commute from home to site of work daily, draining our energies. Had there been super fast trains most of the people would shift their boarding and lodging to the suburbs giving less rent etc and would enjoy in open and pure environment and attend the work with greater enthusiasm. 7. there is a very strong impediment of funds for all that is planed and for that we have fund raising plans of FDI AND PPP. We have very good experience of such investments when we see the roads and bridges constructed under these schemes. Now please tell me does this budget attend to all these shortfall if yes tell all the opponent s to shut their mouths and hang their head in shame. A common man ckkaul.
