Rain on a tin roof...is there a better sound, or a better way to sleep in on a Sunday morning. The cats practically had to drag me out of the bed at 7:15 AM!!! Coffee is made...cats are treated, fed, scooped and loved. Birds are awake, still in cage but the door is open and their water and food is out for them when they are ready...the chickens seem to have slept in the morning also. I am really late for them, but in just a few minutes and I will venture out in the rain to give them morning treats. Update on the knee...still clicking and popping. Not swollen much this am...and once again, it does not hurt, but is uncomfortable and effecting my walking :( I did stay off of it much of the day. I did ice it and put heat (15 on for each) The parking/party/funeral weekend traffic was not bad at all. There was a little activity at the funeral home, but it must have been a church service or graveside. Another body was delivered yesterday afternoon. Ive never seen a funeral home that doesnt list its services or even obits for many dont show up in the paper. Strange. Party across the street was not the blow out that was expected and only about a dozen cars were on the street and most of those were from Ohio down to our drive. One lone car parked on the wrong side of the street twice, but was only there for 20 minutes or so. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, that they were just unloading or loading. So on the chickens...have a great Sunday Yall.
