Rainbow Bridge Hearts/Artful Ashes is an amazing family. Rainbow Bridge handles the pet ashes (they had to form a separate entity because funeral homes didnt want the same company handling pet ashes . . . . but its all family members running the two entities). Glass Eye Studio is a fabulous glass blowing studio open to the public with sidewalk sales that apparently draw hundreds. The gallery had stunning glass work. The colors offered for the hearts is limited because the ashes give off gas as the glass cools and can crack the hearts, so only certain colors work with ashes. Each heart is different as each is handmade, numbered, and with your pets name etched into the back. The artists at Glass Eye are learning as they go when it comes to experimenting with the ashes . . . a fascinating place, with warm-hearted people at Rainbow Bridge Hearts. Rainbow Bridge Hearts has a photo of Tripp (earlier this month) on their Facebook page. Picking up Tripps heart in person definitely was memorable.
